Whilst the hat-camera works reasonably well when hat-mounted it lacks the peeriness sometimes exhibited by online footage, most probably due to not being right in the centre where it wasn't put for tomorrow's test run as that's where my rechargeable front light has to sit in order to end up pointing roughly where I want to see when it's dark (or where it's easy to pointedly look at people with it if I feel they need their awareness of me heightened). It's also extremely difficult to remove from the mount, though this is technically a good thing from the point of view of not having to buy new cameras every time they fall off, though I'd prefer the option of removing it so that I can mount it on the bike during the summer.
