Sky high !

The girls are all delighted that their friends have come back from their holidays - and the house was full of the lively sound of them all.

Managed to clear out the garage and the cellar today. Another big trip to the recycling.

There were some other hard workers on the roof across from our house. The house has been empty for as long as we have been here and the new owners are giving it a complete makeover. Here are the Roofers with an unorthodox way to tile a roof. No scaffolding. They rope themselves up and swing around the roof. Terrifying and fascinating in equal measure.

I think they are Polish, as you can here them chatting late in to the evening from the roof. They're doing a very good job (even in the rain today!)
