Neeeeeeoooooowwwww

It's been a horrible grey wet day and I had lots of errands to run, so I got a tad damp :-(........however, there was a very short interlude from the precipitation as I went past the lake, so I nipped in for ten minutes to see what was about.  Lots of soggy baby water birds but this Grebe got the blip honours today for his impersonation of a speed boat ( I have included an extra of him as he came to rest).......I haven't a clue what caused him to do it, as he came round a corner like this but it was absolutely hilarious to watch......and I don't think I need to look any further for my entry into next month's photo group topic of  'FAST'  ;-)))
