Yellow
All around the Windswept Acre is a sea of yellow iris. They are late this year but very profuse. I found one stem with buds into double figures. Remarkable.
Above the yellow there are patches of haar drifting in the sunshine, and nothing to hear but the glorious song of skylarks.
It is all rather wonderful.
We have to visit the hospital tomorrow. I'll take my camera in the hope of seeing some Orcas from the ferry but it is more than likely that the camera will stay in its case all day as we plan nothing more exciting than stocking up at Tesco, should time permit.
