Asphodel Meadows

According to the Ancient Greeks, once you were dead you landed up in Tartarus, somewhere deep in Hades. Here you were judged according to the life you had lead. The heroes went off to the Elysian Fields, the baddies were sent off to have horrible things done to them in Tartarus itself, whilst those who had lived ordinary, somewhat boring lives were sent to the Asphodel Meadows. Greek asphodels are a bit pale and wan apparently but Irish bog asphodels are delightful and sunny - those little orange specks are they, dancing among the bog cotton. I wouldn't mind ending up in these Asphodel meadows.
