Morning visitor

This little guy was cleaning up under the bird feeder this morning. Possums are easy to photograph because they tend to keep absolutely still and sometimes lie on their sides so that you really would think they were dead! . On the other hand, an adult can be really mean and will bear its teeth and generally behave in an unpleasant manner. The blackbirds and grackles are messy eaters so there is plenty to pick up on the ground. In all fairness, they do eat off the ground too, so they are at least partly exonerated!

A really pleasant day. We only got 0.1 inches yesterday and could do with more, but the temperature is much more in line with the average for June.
