Job Done

After yesterday’s blip I thought I should fit the new thermostat.  That just took me between five and ten minutes.  The next hour and a half to two hours was taken up with checking that the new stat was working properly and tidying up .  .  .
 
This is the new stat in place with the old one sitting on top of the boiler.  All you can see of the new thermostat is the end of the bulb where it sticks out from the top thermometer pocket.  I have the electronic thermometer probe in the fail-safe stat pocket below.
 
Seriously touching wood, but all systems are currently go.
