To be done

The first of our induction days for our new students today so it was an early start to ensure that everything was covered. Contingency plans were considered based on the weather and they were needed as it rained virtually non-stop all day. Our new students were lovely and have worked hard all day  with very positive feedback from staff which bodes really well for September. Four of seven groups in today and the remaining three on Friday will give us the full picture. 

A bit of multi-tasking required throughout the day to deal with Y9 options stuff at the same time  as the new students with quite a few things resolved and tomorrow to tackle the rest. 

We finished fairly early but I couldn't face marking at work so brought my Y7 books home to do whilst I listened to the Folk Show and the torrential rain which Bailey was keen to be in the middle of. He was denied.
