No lightning, no cry

I have always been lousy at trying to catch pictures of lightning, but usually I try to at least use a tripod and my SLR with the correct lens and timing set and blar-di-bla... 
So here is an even more lousy walking-down-the-street-with-my-handheld-compact-camera-in-the-one-hand-and-a-dog-wanting-to-go-home-in-the-other-hand-lightning-storm-atmosphere-shot-attempt. ;) Ah well! 

P.S.: They are still searching (by helicopter) for the man who was swept in the river last Friday. Sad story.
