Palma

Palms everywhere.

After a slightly bumpy descent into Mallorca, we met with the vendor of the Opel Astra Twintop that I had been negotiating to buy for two or so weeks. The car turned out to be pretty much everything I had expected and hoped so, so far so good. We'll take him/her (not sure yet) for a good test run tomorrow.

The hotel in Palma is fabulous and so quiet. We had a wonderful dinner in an Italian restaurant across the road and are now falling asleep.

Tomorrow will probably be breakfast followed by open-top hop-on/hop-off bus around Palma and a drive into the hinterland later.

Ferry to Denia leaves at 8.00 Friday morning.
