Silver. Well done Lizzie!

Today more than made up for yesterday's disappointment. Silver for Lizzie Armitstead - fantastic result for a brilliant ride. Team GB's first medal.

Yesterday we were prevented from riding along the course to get to Box Hill by a 'job's worth'. No such problem today - spent quite sometime chatting to the marshalls and police whilst waiting for the race to come through. Got a bit cold waiting (and wet) as we went out expecting the same good weather.

Sorry for the riders that crashed, the poor girl from Belarus came off in front of us, and I'm glad to say finished really well. This was probably the most dangerous course on the course, so it was to be expected in the wet.

What a magic week end. And we've got the time trial on Wednesday. The track later in the week. Two medals now (just finished watching Becky get bronze in the swimming).
