Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

2016 Wednesday -- Pier Perspective

The clock's hands were telling that it was after 5:00 when we left the house to take a book that was due today back to the library (library was open till 7:00 this evening). So after the quick stop at the library, then we were aimed toward the beach.

And oh the pups were thrilled. They love walking on the sand. The tide was changing from low to high. We walked on the north side of the pier and then under the pier to the south side toward the public restroom. We met a family with small children who all wanted to pet the pups. That was a fun moment. Then back under the pier and to the car.

Once we got home, I prepared the pups' dinner and quickly warmed a batch of Stephanie's "Farmers Market Inspired Soup" and the two of us ate till we oinked! Then we sat for the longest time just watching the whales giving us the last performance of the day as the sun dropped behind the northern hills. We watched as three times whales jumped out of the water and numerous times we saw great spouts of steam-like vapor.

A little after 8:00 we decided to walked the pups thru the neighborhood. So we quickly cleared our dining area, put on our jackets, leashed the dogs, and we were out the door and walking.

It's been a wonderful Wednesday,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
