Farewell

A busy day today, with a brush with royalty this morning when I attended the official opening of the Dalkeith Corn Exchange by the Duke of Gloucester.  More fun, was the afternoon's tea party at work, held to say farewell to my colleague, Lauren, who is moving on to pastures new.  As you can see, there was a great shortage of cake....!

And a riding lesson in the evening on Marco.  He's a sweetie, and a bit less of a handful than some of the others I have ridden recently which was nice, but also meant I had to focus on things like the fact my toes point out too much (I'm blaming this on the different leg position and aids in Western riding) and my elbows flap around.  Sigh.
