Olympic Road Race

We took the tube to Richmond, preparing to catch a glimpse of our first live Olympics experience. After many police had zipped past we finally saw the peleton zoom past. The ten seconds we saw the cyclists wasn't quite enough to make out any faces so we set off to Richmond Park, hoping to get a better view from there when they returned to the park late in the race.
Richmond park was lovely and we walked around it before bagging a brilliant spot by the road. This is a blip of Bradley Wiggins leading the peleton.
It was a disappointing result but a great experience.
In the evening we saw the fantastic performance of 'Matilda' which was hilarious.
