West Coast and Wonderful

The first full day of our holiday with our extended family on my in-laws side and inbetween torrential rain showers and howling winds the sun breaks through and someone suggests we make a dash for it down to the beautiful beach nearby.

Within minutes of being on the beach someone suggests a swim would be the thing and suddenly the little ones are off, swopping clothes for swim shorts and running straight through the waves.

Not content with paddling, they started swimming in the waves and body surfing over them. They were so brave and had such determination and stamina. I was so proud.

I have a feeling that regardless of the weather forecast, this is going to be a good week.
