Butterfly bonanza

I have also backblipped yesterday's The Swan Family ...... also Tuesday's So Sweet ...... hope you will have a look :-)


This morning we saw a Nuthatch for the first time since we've been here ..... they used to be very common here but their numbers seem to have diminished ...... either that or they've all been hiding!

We went for a long walk on the Chase ..... we saw lots of Wrens, Jays, Great Spotted Woodpeckers & as blipped:

Small Heath butterfly
Common Blue butterfly (female)
Speckled Wood butterfly
& a Dragonfly

When we returned we saw a Tree Creeper  ........ & watched the bats flying around. Mrs Fox also wandered by ...... she seemed none the worse for her nighttime escapade yesterday! :-)

I am getting caught up ..... well I'm trying ...... I'm only a week behind now!
