Getting ready for the judges

The judges are coming on Tuesday to view the Reserve for the community space class of Tunbridge Wells in Bloom competition. This path is lethally slippery with all the rain we have had, so today we were putting down wire. We can't have one of the judges slipping onto their backside can we?  ( yes, those are my attractive pink gloves on the side!) 

The extra is a very friendly cow, not bothered by all our tidying up. However the cows are making a mess on the paths and we drew the line at shovelling up cow pancakes. I also spotted some ash die-back - another extra. I do not think we are going to win!
