Ready for planting

There was a bit of excitement this morning when G woke to this sight... Grass ready to be laid on this new lawn, and the site prepared for it. It is now almost midnight, and we missed seeing the rolls being laid out... as we were busy enjoying the alternative viewing Netflix is currently offering! I shall post an update in due course... Hopefully, the young lads will actually let this grass grown.

Good day at work and glad it is the end of the week, month, H1 even!!! G's a/c has been checked and has a new (original part) capacitor! Apparently, what was put 2 years ago was an imitation and was overheating. There you go! Hoping this works, and we don't have to go down the route of a new compressor in two years.

And G had a go at using her credit card to get a 50% offer on cinema tickets! We watched the movie "Me Before You" which really took me by surprise being filmed in the UK! A very well made movie, but boy were we depressed after it. Had a 800 Degrees Pizza before heading home. An interesting new concept where they cook pizza in 90 seconds at 800 degrees farenheit! Didn't have to wait long for it to arrive which was just as well.

And I got to speak to favourite nephew The Ben first thing in the morning - to wish him for his birthday. He was telling me about the presents he got and, er, mumbles a lot, so there was much I didn't catch of the conversation! :(  He got an incredible cake made for him...

Took me back to turning 18. I was working, and had a car(!) and just had to pass my driving test...
