Brilliant yellow

The sedum is brilliant yellow right now and has pretty yellow flowers on some of the tips. I put a little old potting soil between some of the finishing stones on the garden wall around the little front garden and transplanted some sedum in there when I was out doing the driveway weeding. It seems to have taken nicely.

Birgit & Maddie got off the ferry here at 2:30. The day started with bright sunshine but as we walked off the ferry with their luggage the sky fell in and we all got soaked! First order when we got to the house was to change into dry clothes. Of course when we got to the house it wasn't raining either!

After naps, it was a wonderful dinner out at the hotel. Maple was the cook tonight and our food was delish. Now we are all ready for a good nights rest.
