A Spark plug.....

Tonight, I was at a preview of a delightful art exhibition by my friend Robin Spark (son of writer Muriel Spark), which runs for the next fortnight.

If anyone in Edinburgh is interested, his hugely colourful paintings can be viewed (and bought!) at the Patriothall Gallery in Stockbridge....a lovely place to visit.

Robin is generously donating a large percentage of his profits to another friend, Professor Frank Gunn-Moore of St Andrews University, to help fund his research into Alzheimer's disease. Both Robin and Frank are a delight to know, and I wish them much success in raising money for such vital work.
