something blue

35 years ago today i was getting ready to drive through London in a big black car with my dad to get married at The Savoy Chapel....apart from two lovely daughters, it didn't turn out so well!

(i had intended to make a photograph for today using a wedding portrait of granny and granddad, who got married in 1917.  that didn't work out either. perhaps we all got married too young.

clearly today is all about marriage for me - the post has just brought me a new driving license, now in the correct name, and returned my marriage certificate (witnessed by aforementioned daughters).
