This is a relative of mine who died in First World War on the tenth of April 1918 at the age of twenty three. He joined up just before The Battle of the Somme and was still in training at the time. He was quickly shipped to France after training and fought with The Royal Scots Regiment, his body was never recovered.
We owe them all a great debt.
