Progress - slow but sure!

Out biking again early this afternoon, but this time we took the tandem out for a change - I think that's the first time since last Fall! We cycled further north today, starting at Mathers Mill. I blipped this bridge about a year ago - the Jeremiah Morrow bridge, which carries the I-71 over the Little Miami river valley. Here you can see the new carriageway beginning to take shape between the two old ones. Once it is complete, traffic will switch to it from the right hand carriageway, which will then be destroyed. If you look carefully, you can also see work has started on the other new carriageway beneath the left hand carriageway - since it is underneath, it will be interesting to see how they destroy the existing one! The project is scheduled to take 5 years!
