Friends for Life Rally

My son K (top row, first guy in line, tall and skinny) is participating in a six-day bike rally from Toronto to Montreal -- a 660 km journey. This is the 14th year for this Friends for Life rally, which is a fundraiser for the treatment and prevention of HIV/AIDS. The 283 riders have collectively raised just over one million dollars this year; quite an accomplishment!

This is my son's first time participating in this rally and he had a mix of trepidation and excitement going as they were ready to get on their bikes this morning. The first day's ride was 111 km long and he apparently weathered it just fine :)
