Happy Almost Birthday

Or you could say it was a grand start to my birthday week. Everyone should have a birthday week; one day is not enough.

My dad and his fiancee came to Seaside for the day and we had a great time. We spent time downtown, had lunch overlooking the ocean and ended the evening in their motel room watching pelicans fish and the sunset.

We also saw a harlequin duck, not a common visitor to our shores. I came home and discovered he was a life bird. I am clocking those left and right!

Tomorrow is Monday and woo hoo the week begins. But I only work 4 days. Thursday is my birthday and I have it off.
