Dozing Pheasant

"I've waited all day," said the pheasant,
"For some sunshine to doze in - so pleasant!
And I see you've no gun,
So you won't spoil my fun.
Yes, I think I'll stay here for the present."

Unfortunately, while he patiently let me take his photo, he did move off when I walked by, even though I tiptoed! I was sorry to disturb his rest.
