A day of house moving for Steve today. It all went smoothly and he is thrilled to be in his new home. The happiness has been tinged with sadness as he moves from the lovely house that he and Mum bought together not many years ago. The beautiful garden that mum created is now someone else's. The family that have moved have two young children so it makes me happy to think the house will be their new home. I think Mum would have liked that too. After the wet day the evening has been brighter and drier - the sunset in the west creating a sense of warmth and calm in the landscape.
