Small, Green, and Alive
I walked without Music, taking the very familiar route we have taken countless mornings. I felt alone and somewhat lost. He was a very grounding presence as he followed his habitual path, while I stayed alert to possible photographs. I was alone, and had no real interest in taking pictures. Yet I saw the flicker of green against green, discovered vitality in a tiny chameleon, raised my camera and trusted the click that might turn a brief encounter into a kind of resurrection....at least for a moment.
Extra: Very much alive...
