Peacock Mosaic in the House of Dionysos - Cyprus

This mosaic is beautifully preserved and dates from the late 2nd or early 3rd century AD. It's in room 15 in the House of Dionysos - a building of 2000 sq m!! This is massive. Whoever built this was seriously powerful and wealthy. My second photo gives more detail
