Hacknety Wick in East London is not the prettiest part of town, but it has never ment to be. It was a thriving part of London during industrial revolution, full of workshops, factories, various plants and commercial units, and in decline ever since. Today, since its proximity to Olympic Park, Hackney Wick has been given a new lease of life: new face, more visitors, and some hope for a bit brighter tomorrow.
