Reading day, meaning the students are supposed to be preparing for their final exams taking place the following day.
My first-ever summer term is over. It was brutal, but it seems that the students learned a ton. Their writing improved more than during a regular semester because whatever they learned, they had to practice the very same day, or the following morning. How can I create this sense of pressure and immediacy during a regular semester, and do I want to?
