Hiding so they won't put me outside!

Today has disappeared, and I actually am a bit lost as to how it has happened this way.

Took the kids to school, and collected our tickets for this Saturday's community ball. We'd not been able to get them, as they'd sold out, but someone returned a pair on Friday. Yippee! An excuse to get dolled up, dance like a loon with the Husband and best of all, it's within walking distance.

Made my way to my appointment with the Specialist, and had some bloods and a urine test done. Only have to book in to have an ultrasound of my neck now. Think we might have narrowed things right down now, which is fabulous.

Went to the library and somehow I lost 2 hours in there, just meandering through books for the girls and myself. Home just in time for school pick up.

Swimming in the afternoon, and they had such a lovely time that we ended up staying for quite a long time. They're both coming on great guns.

Just got them to bed, and the Husband is sorting out the dinner dishes, then we'll be having our wind down and chill out.

PS - His cupcakes scored 6/10, I think his workmates have no taste buds...He didn't win, which is a relief. I'd hate for him to think that they were appropriate to make again. Note to self - really must rip that page out of the recipe book.
