Postcard from Christchurch....

Winter's day walk around the city.

After a heavy frost the day was really pleasant with lovely sunshine and no wind. It wasn't too warm out of the sun.

I had to get a few things so while I was out I took a walk around the city to catch up on progress. One good surprise I found, was a building in Cathedral Square which had the top part removed for safely reasons not long after the earthquake, is now all coming down.

There were many more buildings which are just about completed. It sure is starting to look a different city.

You can see a artist at work on a mural in the Shot Bottom Right and if you look at the Shot Top Left you can see him in the shadows working on the mural.
