Succulent
A couple of years ago we bought a number of trees to plant in the back garden.
In that time the Silver Birch has flourished and is now as tall as our favourite Rowan.
The Cherry tree, while it hasn't shot up in height, has become a "Large Bush", and has had large numbers of cherries every year, not that we've ever had any, the Blackbirds and WoodPigeons see them off as soon as they start to ripen.
The Cox's Pippin and Russett apple trees have been a bit of a disappointment, so i was looking to replace them, hence the early morning visit to the garden centre.
Bev, wants to go with either another Rowan or another Cottoneaster. The specimens we have at the moment are both heading up to the 45 feet mark, gorgeous.
To be honest, the trees we saw this morning were nothing more than saplings really, i think we'll have a run up to Hilliers Arboretum and try and buy something more mature.
Couldn't resist snapping this geometric succulent with it's very gaudy colours.
