Wild Beauty

I have a section of my garden that has wild flowers in it and they are looking very colourful.

Another rejection letter received by potential sponsor this morning. I will carry on as they say every rejection is one step closer to success!!

Aiden went into dancing a few hours earlier today to see if she could convince any of the parents in the waiting room to purchase a dance themed hanging heart to support her Miss Teen Grand Final experience, she did quite well and manage to sell 10 and got an order for 1 personalised. They are being sold at a very reduced price and would have thought they'd all have sold, but she's very pleased with herself and I'm proud of my little sales lady for doing something new and out of her comfort zone.

I'm not annoyed but rather surprised how few friends/family have offered their 'change' to support Aiden, especially as they know how much she has suffered as a youngster with epilepsy and on a daily basis with her speech defect, you'd think they'd know what this means to her, being in the Grand Final is a dream come true, which now has to become a reality. When she entered this competition on her own accord she never imagined she'd ever get this far and now that she has, she's determined to go all the way, I'm sure it's going to be a great confidence booster and experience, just a pity we don't have support from all the friends/family.

On the other side the few that have kindly donated have done so generously, and for that we are truly grateful and appreciative.
