Round the Island 2016

Today was the annual Round the Island yacht race, where all manor of yachts, both big and small compete to race around the Isle of Wight. The boats set off early, around 7.30am I think. This was the view from my window at about 8.45 am.

The winner was Phaedo 3 who finished the course in a new record of 2 hours, 23 minuted and 23 seconds.
