In an English Country Garden.
Upton Village Fete.
Poppy excelled in the dog events scoring last and second to last. In one short VT I did Karen's voice finishes it off as she says 'Where's my drink?' It was a fair question.
Flo came third (out of three) in the 5-6 year olds girls sprint. She was wearing wellies and away with the fairies when the shout for the off arrived.
In the tug of war my manly frame was of little use to our best of three tug. At 2-0 down the Fete Compere saved me getting a hernia.
General goodness and fun was had by all.
A spitfire kindly did a fly over and even tipped his wings. God I love that plane!
If I live to be 105 I will re-live the look on my precious daughters face as she led (was pulled) her dog around the various courses. I am thrilled that the two of them seem to have the same character.
Earlier this week I kept having an old Christian chorus repeat through my mind called 'count your blessings name them one by one' and this day, my god this day, I have done that.
Much love to you all, my blip friends. You matter. You matter to me.
A Xx
