Blessed

Today was a very special day for me. Lewis and Morgan were to be married and they invited me to be part of the service. Lewis has been a part of my life since he was born. His mum and I trained together over thirty years ago.
Tragically his dad died a few years ago while I was out in NZ and I have never got over not being able to make the funeral. Today I got to see Dougs' son Lewis marry his sweetheart. I was very emotional - not least because I thought of Doig and these two are a lovely gentle couple. But then to finish me off they sang 'How great thou art' which we sang at my mums funeral which was the last time I was in the UK!
This family picture is special for one more reason - for over thirty years these people have been my family as much as my own and I love every last one of them to bits
