Eider Ducklings

Knowing this was my only and last opportunity this year to see (I was going to say shoot) a puffin I made the decision to go with my heart and not with my head, up to the Farne Islands as we had planned to do 3 weeks ago. 

I'm rather glad now my mother doesn't read my blips as I would be getting so much stick for this it's untrue. My foot is still a nightmare but I am at least going to try and wobble around. Hubs is going to sherpa the lens so just waiting on the weather and fingers crossed!!

These Eider ducklings are always here in Seahouses harbour. There seem to be more of them this year which is good and they seem quite tame, coming up onto the beach when they have a wiff of food. Very sweet.
