Enjoyed a very fun evening with friends from across the pond as they celebrated Independance Day just a couple of days early.

Wonderful BBQ followed by toasting huge marshmallows over the fire before they became oozy, chocolatey Smores.

Five of our friends fellow Americans arrived towards the end of the evening with a loud rendition of their national anthem. The rest of us couldn't ignore that...

..... I wonder how many US Independance Day celebrations end with a very loud and enthusiastic 'God Save the Queen'? !!!
