Alphabet Challenge: Z is for Zeitgeist

Zeitgeist - the defining spirit or mood of a particular period of history as shown by the ideas or beliefs of the time.
A difficult thing to put into words, even more difficult to photograph - then, coming back from London on the train I thought of this - nowadays we are in constant communication with the world via modern technology, but it seems no-one talks to each other, writes actual letters, gives a physical touch - it's all texts, e-mails and emoticons. Almost everyone in the carriage had their eyes glued to the tiny screen, earphones in their ears, concentrating on the virtual, oblivious to the actual.
