Library Cards!

Lulu and Izzy now have their own library cards! They had a lovely morning in the children's section, and loved using the self-checkout monster which magically knows the title of each book placed in its mouth.

Apologies for the quality of this image, but I had to use it as it captures the joy on Lucy's face upon discovering a completely bonkers book, all about a pigeon who is desperately trying to persuade the reader to let him drive a bus. She read it over and over to me and laughed so much; needless to say it is the first book she has borrowed with her library card. Izzy has brought home The Trouble with Dragons by Debi Gliori, the author of her favourite book Goodnight Baby Bat, so we shall see if it sheds some light on the dragon who lives in our garden...
