Shibden Park

I took the hedge trimmers for a spin this morning but the heavy showers meant that I was in and out of the house like a yo-yo. I eventually managed to get the clippings swept up and the lawns cut by 7pm.

Prue enjoyed her trip to the Wales match in Lille yesterday and headed back on Eurostar today. Meanwhile Harriet has managed to get a ticket for the Wales v. Portugal semi-finals in Lyon on Wednesday and after begging and borrowing money is busy making her travel and accommodation arrangements. 

I nipped out to the shops in Halifax late afternoon. It was the best part of the day. I took the opportunity to call in at Shibden Park afterwards (extra - Shibden Hall).
