1. FC Magdeburg vs. Dynamo Dresden

Today the "traditional" football match in the 3rd league, Magdeburg vs. Dresden took place (like Peter announced here). The hooligans from Magdeburg and Dresden are said to be the most violent ones in the whole league.

Some facts about the game:
- There were 20.000 fans from Magdeburg, 4.000 from Dresden.
- There were over 1000 policemen and 3 helicopters in service - the largest number in this city for 20 years
- The match began 19 minutes too late because "fans" from Magdeburg stopped the team bus from Dresden via sitting on the street. The 24 year old referee was also hindered to get into the stadium for a while
- The fans from Dresden were brought to and from a nearby train statio in a whole closed group to avoid clashes in the city center

Thankfully, after the match nothing much happened. Magdeburg won the match with 1:0.
