Polaroids

After preparing for our Bible/book study, Kevin, Junyi, and I ate at Noodle's and then went to an antique shop in Ferndale. It was like a farmers' market for antique goods. I was considering getting one of these, but I ended up getting a Michael Jackson Thriller record for only $4. Now I just need a record player haha. We talked about growing up, independence, and responsibility in the evening. Independence is freedom from the want of the world, deciding rather than reacting to the environment. "The fruit of the spirit...is self-control" (Galatians 5:22). Also, Olympics were very good. I saw the end of women's cycling road race in the morning, then gymnastics and swimming in the evening.
