My hens

I have yet to get a good pic of all three hens. The two blackish hens are the new ones, and have yet to lay an egg! I do like their colouring.
My lovely old hen ( Redhead) is 3 years now and has lovely colourful new feathers. I blipped her in the process of moulting. Half grown feathers
She also is still off the lay but maybe not surprising given her age and that it is winter. Several nearby hens have been taken from their runs by the local falcon. I think these are fairly safe as they like to sit under a manuka tree which hides them.
