Butterfly magic

I marvelled at a photo of two blues together a few days ago. Little did I think I would be treated to such a similar sight on my walk this morning.

Pipe Hall Farm Woodland Trust reserve was full of butterflies. Lots of dancing Ringlets (who paused from time to time). Lots of Meadow Browns who weren't so co operative (unless you caught them on small stalks). Six spot burnet moths, Speckled woods, one Small Tortoiseshell, and Skippers of assorted sizes.

When the world is going crazy - the only answer is to go out and enjoy the beauty.... preferably in the sunshine.
