Eclectus parrot

This Parrot was standing on its owners arm while she was sat on a bench just watching the world go by, we have heard of taking the dog for a walk but not a parrot???!but there she sat as calmly as you please we had to stop and firstly ask what sort of parrot and where was he from? originally found in the Solomon islands, also bred in the Eastern states, where this one was from.
A very inquisitive Parrot not shy at all and didn't mind having a photo taken, I'm sure he posed for this blip especially..
