The hills are alive....

I went on the shorter walk today, just 6+ miles in the woods above the town.

Our coffee stop was at a hut where a marquee had been erected. We thought it might be for a wedding reception because of all the white flowers, but it seemed to be part of the local celebrations this weekend at the start of the school holidays.

"Trio Sat" started to play. Their jazz was very easy listening.

It's been cooler today but the sun was very strong at times.

On our way back to the village we stopped to meet the local resident who has been collecting garden gnomes for 20 years. See extra - oh no, not from the iPad. Sorry.
