Abstract

I was struggling a bit today and just generally not feeling inspired, so in the end I chose this shot for blip.  The peonies I bought are beginning to wilt quite quickly and this shows a section of a stem and how the leaves join on to the stem.  I usually take photographs like this in the kitchen and it seems to work better when it is a dull day and the light is less harsh.  However, the school holidays have just started here and true to form the weather has been disappointing.
